Aragatsotn
For a few weeks each summer, Aragats's high slopes erupt into alpine wildflowers, and a gentle 2-hour walk in June or July catches the bloom at its peak. No technical difficulty and free to do, this is one of the easiest ways to experience the mountain's ecology up close, especially good for those not attempting the summit hikes.
