Ararat
The Ararat valley grows some of Armenia's best apricots, and a 2-hour visit to an orchard during picking season lets you pick sun-ripened fruit straight from the tree. Running June through August from 5,000 AMD, it's a simple, seasonal activity that connects directly to the valley's reputation as Armenia's fruit basket.
