Lori
A 5-hour hike through the dramatic Arevatsag canyon leads to Hnevank, a 7th-century monastery built where two rivers meet at the canyon's edge. Free to hike and best done May through October, it's one of the longer, more demanding hikes in Lori, rewarded by a striking combination of gorge and ancient architecture.
