Gegharkunik
The Artanish Peninsula, a wilder, less-visited arm of Sevan's northeast shore, offers a demanding 5-hour hike through open, largely untouched terrain along the lake's edge. Free to hike and best done May through October, it suits visitors wanting to see Sevan away from its busier beach areas.
