Aragatsotn
Tucked into Aragats's northern slopes, the Gegharot Waterfall is a lesser-visited spot reached by a 3-hour hike through forested terrain that stays cool even in high summer. The trail is straightforward but unmarked in places, so a map or local knowledge helps. It's free to visit and best attempted June through September when the trail is dry and the waterfall is running well after spring snowmelt.
