Vayots Dzor
The Gnishik Canyon combines striking red-rock formations with caves, cliffs and a notably rich concentration of wildlife, making a 3-hour trek here more varied than a typical canyon walk. Free to hike and best done April through October, it's a good option for visitors interested in both geology and nature.
