Ararat
Kayaking the Azat Reservoir means gliding across still, turquoise water with the Ararat valley's hills rising on every side — a gentle paddle rather than a whitewater thrill. Sessions run 2 hours, cost from 8,000 AMD and are best done April through October when the weather is warm enough to enjoy fully. Suitable for beginners, it's an easy way to see the reservoir from a different angle than the shore.
