Metsamor archaeological museum-reserve walk

Armavir

About

Metsamor is a Bronze and Iron Age fortress-city with the remains of an ancient observatory and metallurgy workshops, and a 90-minute walk through the museum-reserve covers both the ruins and the small on-site museum. Open year-round for 1,500 AMD, it's one of the more substantial archaeological sites in the Ararat plain.
