Lori
This museum in Sanahin covers the lives of the Mikoyan brothers, one a Soviet statesman and the other the aircraft designer behind the MiG fighter jets, both born in this small Lori village. A 45-minute visit costs 1,000 AMD and runs year-round, adding a 20th-century political and industrial layer to a region otherwise known for medieval monasteries.
