Tavush
This 5-hour hike climbs Apakekar, at 1,651 meters, starting from the meadows around Hovk village. Free to hike and best done June through September, it's a substantial but somewhat less extreme climb than Mount Dimats, suited to hikers wanting a serious but shorter day out.
