Gegharkunik
Noratus holds Armenia's largest surviving field of khachkars, intricately carved medieval cross-stones spanning several centuries of craftsmanship, laid out across an open cemetery near the lake. A 1-hour walk through the field is free and open year-round, offering one of the country's most striking concentrations of traditional stone carving.
