The rocky foothills around Ararat offer a solid 3-hour session of guided climbing on natural rock faces, with routes generally set to match the group's experience. Running April through October from 15,000 AMD, it's a good option for climbers wanting real rock rather than an indoor wall, with views over the valley as a bonus.
