At the Vardanyan family studio in Akhuryan, visitors can watch sculptors and painters at work and see finished pieces in progress, a look at contemporary Armenian art practice rather than a historical museum. A 90-minute visit costs 5,000 AMD and runs year-round, offering a different angle on Shirak's strong tradition of stone and craft work.
