Ararat
On a hot day in the Ararat valley, the Azat Reservoir is the local answer to the heat: a natural swimming spot with calm, sun-warmed water and views up toward the surrounding hills. It's free to use and best from June to September when temperatures make a swim genuinely refreshing rather than a shock. Bring your own gear, as facilities are minimal.
