This marked 4-hour trail links the UNESCO-listed Sanahin and Haghpat monasteries via the ruins of Kayan Berd fortress, connecting two of Armenia's most significant medieval sites on foot rather than by road. Free to hike and best done April through October, it's one of the more historically rich hikes available in the country.
