Festival “Gift of Syunik”

The “Gift of Syunik” festival aim is the development of inner tourism in Armenia. It starts at Grigor Tatevatsi square and continues in Old Goris. Within the framework of the festival, there will be different exhibitions where you can buy handmade arts and crafts.

You will also have the opportunity to see and listen to folk songs and dances. At the festival, the locals present the traditional dishes and drinks of the Syunik region. The most interesting thing that you will see here is the process of making mulberry vodka; you can also taste this special drink. This is a great opportunity for the locals to present foreigners the specialty of regional cuisine. The “Gift of Syunik” festival takes place on the first Saturday of July.
